Speech & Expression Committee

The Committee on Speech and Expression, typically composed of four faculty members and four student members, is a standing committee that advises the Vice President for Student Affairs on matters relating to speech and expression. Following the Vice President’s letter to the student body on September 21, 2023, inviting student engagement with principles of civility, speech, and expression, student interest in the committee is growing.

Meetings for the 2023-2024 academic year will take place on November 8, December 7, January 17, February 14, March 13, April 10, and May 8.

An information session on the Speech & Expression Committee and its work will be held by the Vice President on January 23, 2024 at 4:00pm. Follow this link to register.
