Transition housing may be booked for – and paid – by any eligible student. “Bridge Housing” refers to housing covered by the university.

Technically, this housing option costs money; however, if you are approved for “bridge housing”, a department on campus will cover the cost.

Due to space constraints and on-going renovations, we are unable to accommodate specific requests beyond ARC’s officially approved accommodations, which we do our best to honor.

No, but our options outside of official dates may be limited.

Currently, we are unable to offer a free option to most students.  Your other options:

  • Book storage directly with Storage Scholars or Corp Storage.
  • Check with friends or faculty mentors to see if they have a space wherein you could store your belongings. 
  • If you meet the bridge housing criteria and ONLY need a space to store your belongings, you may email bridgehousing@georgetown.edu and we will try our best to help.
