Back From a Medical Leave of Absence!

Transitioning back to academic life can be a big step, and SOS is here to continue to support students as they settle back in. Here are some resources that may be helpful:

The Fall Resource Guide highlights some of the Georgetown resources and opportunities available to students. It’s important to remember that you don’t have to navigate your return to campus alone. It can be overwhelming, so please let us help!

One-on-one check-ins with an SOS team member, virtually or in person at the SOS office in Leavey 5. Students are invited to contact SOS or the MLOA Coordinator to schedule a meeting.

Back to the Hilltop , a drop-in group co-facilitated by SOS and CAPS. This is a supportive space for students returning after time away to talk openly about challenges and share their strategies. In the past, students found that having a
community of peers who truly understand their experience to be incredibly validating.
