Break Time Housing and Support Options

The two major breaks for students during the academic calendar are Winter Break and Summer Break, during which the residence halls are closed to Georgetown students. For a variety of reasons, students may need to stay in Washington, DC. To address the needs of students who may experience housing instability during these scheduled breaks student leaders Axel Abrica C’25, and Josh Anderson, alongside other students and administrators, formalized Georgetown’s Bridge Housing Program in 2021.
