Beginning in Fall 2025, Student Outreach and Support will have a home on the Capitol Campus.

Located at 500 First St. the new center will host offices for the Student Health Center (SHC), Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS), Student Outreach & Support (SOS), Health Education Services (HES) . This will provide centralized health services at the Capitol Campus with private offices, new exam rooms, break rooms, administration areas and programming space.

Until the new offices at 500 First St. open, SOS will be operating out of the Student Affairs suite at 111 Massachusetts Ave.

A member of the SOS Team will be physically on the Capitol Campus from 9am-5pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays through the academic year for in-person meetings and consultations. SOS is also available virtually 5 days a week.

Of course you can! We are always happy to meet either in person or virtually based on what makes the most sense for your schedule.

All support is provided to students based on their individual needs, concerns, identities, and degree programs. Every student is different and there is no one size fits all approach, especially based on campus location.

All students, regardless of which campus they study on can be submitted to SOS for support using our Safety Net Referral Form.

Yes! We are available for trainings and workshops for faculty, staff, and students in any of the GU departments, teams, offices, or divisions. You can find more information on our Request an SOS Training page.
